Abstracts submission rules

The I International Conference on Phoenix canariensis gives scientific researchers on this subject the opportunity to present their results.

Whoever is  interested can introduce their presentation abstracts  with the following methods described further ahead.

The submitted abstracts will be published on the website once the congress has finished. 

General rules

The accepted abstracts will be presented as a poster.

Abstracts could be submitted in both Spanish and English language.

Abstracts must be sent through the abstracts submission form that you can find through the following link on this website.

You must fill in all fields of the form.

Those abstracts received by fax, e-mail, post mail or CD will be not accepted.

Posters will be exhibited from November 18th 2009 at 9.30 hours until once the Conference is finished. 

The posters measures are:
- Height: 1,50 m
- Width: 0,90 m 

Terms
November 11th 2009: dateline to send the abstract summary.
November 13th 2009: dateline to communicate the authors the acceptance of their abstracts as a poster. 

Abstracts contents

 
The contents of the abstract summary are: 

Authors: whole names and surnames of all authors. It also has to include their affiliations and contact details. It is important to select one of them as the contact person to receive from the Technical Secretariat all the updates related to the submitted abstracts. 

Title: it has to be written in capital letters and not include shortenings. It must be centered, written in capital letters, with a maximum lenght of two lines.
 
The length of the summary will not exceed 300 words.
 
In case you use shortenings or codes, they must be decoded for the first time.
 
It is not possible to include bibliography on the text.
 
It is recommended sending the text without format since the abstract submission form will change it and adjust all abstracts to the same format.

 
Abstract selection: The Scientific Committee will evaluate the submitted abstracts and communicate the decission to the authors within the terms above. The Scientific Committee could not accept some of the submmited abstratcs.
